The Rosary Altar Society praying the rosary at their October 4th meeting outside the church by the Padre Pio statue.  Eileen Wilkinson, president of the Rosary Altar Society presented Father Scott with a $15,000 donation. 

October 4th was the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.  Thank you Fr. Gerry and Fr. Bob for blessing our pets in front of the Bell Tower.  St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and environment could be viewed as the original Earth Day advocate. ... Francis cared for the poor and sick, he preached sermons to animals and praised all creatures as brothers and sisters under God.
