Prayer Shawl Ministry

When someone is in the depths of grieving a beloved person, our ministry anonymously gives them a prayer shawl or blanket that they can wrap themselves in, read the accompanying prayer card, and feel the peace and love of Jesus. So many parishioners have written heartfelt letters to us for their appreciation. Would you like to be part of this beautiful ministry?

We crochet and knit all year round and most of what we create is done in the comfort of our own homes. We also meet on the second Thursday of each month in the PMC from 2-4pm to turn in our pieces, socialize, share ideas for new stitches, as well as to teach beginners. Yarn, hooks, and needles are provided! Your creation will be truly appreciated. For more information call the Parish Office. Michelina and Jeanne will welcome you whether a pro or a beginner!
